A great line-up of country music entertainers and a sumptuous afternoon is sure to be a winning recipe for a bumper fundraiser.
The proceeds of this year’s Gore Country Music Club charity concert would go to the Gore Women’s Refuge, club publicity officer Glenise Terry said.
“The proceeds all go to them,” Mrs Terry said.
The concert is being held on Sunday at the Longford Function Centre, starting at 2pm. There is a $5 door charge.
Guest artists for the event are Margaret Bates and Max McCauley.
Members of the club will also entertain.
The concert was one way the club could give back to the community, Mrs Terry said.
It usually attracted a full house.
