The Gore Multisports complex has programmes for all ages seeking water fun over the school holidays, starting on July 7.
Gore aquatic services manager Kim Peterson said attractions included the laser tag and swim combinations, bouncy castle swim combo, crazy day swim combos, wet and wild programmes and Leap Frog Swim School.
Ms Peterson said the laser tag and swim combo allowed swimmers the option of using the pool’s laser tag gear to play laser tag in a team of at least five members.
The bouncy castle combo was for younger children.
“There will be bouncy castles set up in the stadium for them to play on as well as swim,” she said.
The crazy days went from 9am to 3pm and cost $27 per child.
“You need to pre-register for the crazy days as we have limited numbers. It will involve things like laser tag, spa time, the blow-ups, morning tea and a barbecue lunch.”
Ms Peterson said the wet and wild programmes were similar but were from 1pm to 3pm.
Ms Peterson said the day was a good way to get children off the couch, off the computer and get active.
“I also hope we can give some parents a break, too.”
To find out more about the programmes, go to the Gore District Council website or pop in to the pool to register.
The crazy days are on July 11 and 20. Registrations end on July 7 and 17 respectively.
