The Cancer Society can not tell you how heartbroken it is to announce its Daffodil Day street collection is cancelled, but it urgently needs your help more than ever.

Daffodil Day symbolises hope for all New Zealanders impacted by cancer.

This year marks 31 years of Daffodil Day in New Zealand. That’s 31 years of our communities coming together to raise much-needed funds to support people facing cancer.

This year Daffodil Day is on this Friday, August 27 and in light of Covid -19 restrictions the Cancer Society of Otago & Southland Division Inc, has changed the way you can help.

This Friday will be a Virtual Daffodil Day.

An online Daffodil Day donation will ensure cancer patients get the support they need right now as they face the extra stress and isolation of Covid-19.

Twenty-four dollars is all that it takes to get someone to treatment.

The society is asking people to please donate online at www.daffodil.org.nz.

An urgent donation this Daffodil Day will ensure cancer patients get the support they need right now as they face the extra stress and isolation of Covid-19.

Please keep the Cancer Society and Daffodil Day in mind.
