Children crowded into the Gore Aquatic Centre spa on Thursday, an attraction normally closed to children.
About 30 children aged from 5 to 12 years enjoyed the spa as part of a school holiday programme.
Aquatics swim school co-ordinator Jo Cheesbrough said the spa was a popular school holiday session.
“I think it’s the novelty of the spa the kids like because normally under 16s are not allowed in,” Ms Cheesbrough said.
The children also enjoyed paddle boats, hamster ball and a sausage sizzle.
The aquatic centre held four programmes during the two-week school holidays.
Another holiday programme involved a spooky theme, including Halloween crafts.
One craft included making a severed finger in a box.
The spooky theme attracted 21 children during the holidays.
“We try and mix things up,” she said.
