Police offer keep safe advice for holidays

With Christmas looming and the holiday season upon us, police are urging people to stay safe.
Senior Constable Pete Gear and police youth aid officer Steve Heyrick appeared at Oxford Kindergarten last week.
The pair also wished the district a merry and safe Christmas.
“This time of year is all very exciting but it is just important for those [driving] to keep yourself and your family safe,” Snr Const Gear said.
He had plenty of warnings for those heading away for holidays.
“When you are driving away for holidays just remember to take a break. There is no need to rush away. Take your time to get to places so you can arrive,” he said.
There would be a 4kmh tolerance in regard to speed limits over the holiday season.
Const Heyrick also warned those who over-indulged during the festive season to be sensible.
“For those going to Christmas parties, don’t drive. Make other arrangements and make sure you get home safely to your friends and family,” Const Heyrick said.best Running shoes brandNike Air Jordan Retro 1 Red Black White – Buy Air Jordan 1 Retro (white / black / varsity red), Price: $60.85 – Air Jordan Shoes
