Record number of Gore Truck Show entries paraded down Gore’s Main St on Saturday.
The show has been held for more than 50 years but more recently has been part of Gore’s Gold Guitars weekend.
This year’s show celebrated 50 years of Mack trucks in New Zealand.
Organiser Rhonda Wilson said the turnout was “amazing” with about 140 trucks taking part, eclipsing last year’s record number of 111.
Numbers were boosted by the 38 Mack truck entries.
“It’s just gone nuts, absolute nuts.”
People had travelled from as far away as Christchurch to take part.
The King Rig winner was Southern Transport driver Nic Young, who was driving a Mack.
The Ensign reporter Sandy Eggleston went along with her camera.
