Women will be able to bag a bargain while raising money for two missionary families.
The Shop for a Cause Guilt-Free Shopping Spree is being held by Lydia Esveld, of Gore, whose two sisters are missionaries, one in Burkina Faso and the other Zambia.
Miss Esveld and a small committee are organising the November 25 fundraiser.
“I was born in Africa; my parents were missionaries,” Miss Esveld said.
Both her sisters Anita Muir and Christine Johnstone had followed in their parents’ footsteps.
People had already donated good-quality clothes for the sale, including some that had never been worn.
But more donations would be appreciated.
The clothes would sell for $3, $5 and $10.
Waffles would be made and sold on the day and there would also be people doing nails and back rubs, she said.
There would also be a fashion show.
The event will be held on Saturday, November 25, at the Calvin Community Church. A creche will be available for under-5s. For more information, contact Miss Esveld on 027 453-9027.
