Rustic-themed wedding day ‘fantastic’

Held on a family farm in Waikaka, Aimee (nee Kelly) and Nathan Steel’s wedding had a rustic theme.
The Gore couple’s wedding was held at Greenvale Domain in Waikaka on Saturday, March 26.
Mrs Steel said it was a great day.
‘‘It was a fantastic day. The weather was perfect; everything went well,’’ Mrs Steel said.
The wedding had a navy blue colour scheme.
Hay bales and stumps were used for seating 130 guests during the ceremony.
The reception was held at the Longford Function Centre.
The wedding, which featured a party of eight, was officiated over by marriage celebrant Janine Byars and had flower arrangements by Conna Mitchell, of Gore, and a cake created by Jude Taylor.
Drinks and beverages were served from a little caravan provided by Waikaka company Love and Good Co.
Mrs Steel works from home in Gore for Wanakabased real estate agency David Reid Homes, while Mr Steel has his own building company in Gore.
The couple now live in Gore.
