Albion stays on top

Albion Excelsior had a 32-17 win over Bluff on Saturday at the Gore A&P Showgrounds.
The bonus-point win keeps the young side firmly at the top of the Southern Wide division three club competition.
Albion Excelsior coach Kim McDowall said the match was quite even despite his side scoring five tries to three.
He said his side was taking each encounter one match at a time as it pushed for a topfour finish.
‘‘We had a few guys out injured this week but they will be back and fit next week,’’ McDowall said.
His side had known the match against Bluff was going to be tough as it was always a difficult opponent, he said.
‘‘It was good. We set out to play a game plan, which we stuck to, and played the game well.’’
He said the team had worked hard in the set piece and he was also happy with the side’s defence, which had been an outstanding feature this season.
Albion was hard pressed on its goal line at times but had done well to push the Bluff attack back.
Albion takes on Otautau in the final round this weekend and will be looking for another strong win heading into the semifinals.bridgemediaスニーカーの検索一覧【新着順】
