The Southland Rhododendron Group organised the 38th Gore Rhododendron Festival, held on on Sunday.
The annual event was held in the Gore Gardens.
A variety of stalls, food trucks, entertainment and activities for the children were part of the festival.
Festival organiser Jayne O’Neill said the festival had gone really well.
‘‘Lovely weather, big crowds, lovely music, but the weather has been the biggest bonus.’’
