Dog trails raise $20,000

The trials which had been held since 2016 had raised about $95,000 for charity in that time. Usually items given by businesses were sold by silent auction but this year the items were auctioned live which made it easier to collect the money. The three day event attracted 170 triallist from throughout the South Island. The committee were grateful for the businesses who sponsored prizes and the volunteers who helped run the event, he said.
