Tapanui Pony Club rider Merryn Helby (11) rides her pony Hunter over a jump in the 50cm pony class at the 54th annual Northern Southland Pony Club Show in Lumsden last Saturday.
Club president Margaret O’Connor said riders took part in classing and showjumping events. ‘‘It’s usually the first show of the season and we get great entries. The show is really great for showcasing our young pony club riders.’’
